Vasco Sassetti winery produces five different wines: Brunello, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino, Il Ginepro, and Tuscan White. The high level of savoriness and minerality in our Sangiovese grapes, attributed to clay-sandy soils rich in gravel and minerals, imparts a pleasant softness and warmth to our wines. The Oak barrels, where we let them rest, harmonize with the fresh taste of mature Sangiovese fruit, providing spicy and fragrant flavors with a pronounced and typical marasca aroma. In recent years, the winery has invested in new vineyards, introducing new clones of Sangiovese with loose clusters and small berries, capable of producing grapes and consequently wines with greater color and extract.
